Well, where do I start? I guess by saying that I had a hard time deciding whether this belt should be posted in the Classic Style wrestling belts gallery, or in the Custom Wrestling belts gallery. I chose both.The client wanted an “Instant Classic” design that had not been done before. He was not sure how to get there, but he trusted Top Rope Belts. We delivered.
JJ’s ideas were to include a shield, Griffons, and Latin phrases, all while integrating a subtle chess theme. He needed a custom RCP logo as well. We worked on this artwork for months between JJ, Jesse, Kevin and myself until we finally came up with a final design that everyone approved of. This was the longest time we have ever spent in the design stage, but the final product was worth it. Take a look at the pictures and the video, and I think you will agree.
